This is the beginning

The name of my business is going to be Woolly Bear Babies. I finished dying yarn and am waiting for it to dry. I will be making my website for the next couple of days and working on my first order (6 pieces!!!!!!!). Now my house smells like kool-aid and vinegar lol. I will post pics tomorrow, this yarn needs to be seen in the sun.

I'm starting a business

After much encouragement from my DDC (due date club) I have decided to start selling my soakers. Its really exciting. I don't know if I will ever really do much with them but darn if I'm not going try. I decided rather than knit a bunch right now for a stock I'm going to do it by order, at least for now. That way I'm not killing myself to make a stock. If it works out i will start a hyena cart. Now to set up my pay pal business account!

Rip it ,rip it real good

I swear I frog more than I knit sometimes LOL. The Longies I've been making are very big. Yeah I could continue and give them to Davey but I hated the way the increases turned out anyway and I'm hoping Davey will be out of diapers soon. You know I don't really get aggravated about frogging a project, I've accepted that I'm anal and I just try to enjoy the process. I embrace the spirit of Shiva for the act if you will. Off to make puddles of yarn.

Ghost in my apartment

For weeks now I have been feeling a benign presence in my room, ironically near the closet. It was just a watcher but something has changed. I took a nap with Dave, ok I fell asleep while nursing Bear, and I must have fallen asleep with my glasses on (I know bad Becky). I must have been asleep for an hour tops. The recruiter called Dave and his phone ringing woke me up, my eyes snapped open and I saw this black stringy orb descending and unfurling towards my face. I shrieked and it curled up and retracted back towards the ceiling. Dave switched on the light and it disappeared. I honestly don't think I was dreaming. I am totally freaked out now. Those are crude drawings but they show the gist, they were more like ink speading out in water than that.

To stripe or not to stripe?

I can't decide if I want to do orange and camo stripes on the Longies I'm making. I probably will just for the shear obnoxious-nous of it Lol. I'm not entirely happy about the way the increases look so I may have to adjust the pattern for the next time. These will be my guinea pig pair. I just hope that I can finish them before it gets too warm for Bear to wear them.

Inaugeral Post!!!!

I think I'm actually starting this blog so it will make me seem more interesting on Ravelry LOL! So much is happening right now in my life. I have an almost 4 year old named Davey (he's the one with the crazy hair) and a 5 month old named Beren (we call him Bear). They are the usual recipients of my knitting. My Husband will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in May. We are working towards him joining the Army very soon. We have struggled and struggled to find a solution to our ever growing financial crises and this seems to solve a lot of problems. I am scared for obvious reasons though. I will miss him so much and it will be hard to be on my own with the kids. I am looking forward to the travel being an active military family brings. I am ready to get out of this area. I am looking forward to the future.
